Prevention of Infant Diarrhea

One of the most common health problems in babies is diarrhea. According to health experts, there are numerous causes including ear infections, antibiotics, baby food allergies and other infections. These factors can cause loose bowel movements. Therefore, it is important that parents should take preventative measures that can help to stop the condition before it starts.

Sanitize to stay bacteria free.

Kill bacteria by washing all chewable baby toys using hot water. You should also wash your baby’s hands with mild anti-bacterial soap and use anti-bacterial hand sanitizers to keep his hands germ free.

Make sure you baby stays hydrated.

Keeping your baby hydrated especially when he is sick. You must learn the signs of dehydration. It is best to give him water frequently especially if it is hot outside.

Find out and learn the signs of food allergies.

Do not give foods that cause your baby to have excessive gas and bloating.
